member_42.jpg Mark Sedgwick is associate professor of Arab history, culture and society in the Faculty of Theology at the University of Aarhus, Denmark. His research focuses on junctions for the transfer of religions and traditions in the late pre-modern and modern periods. It is mostly on modern Islamic and Western religious history, but he has also done work on terrorism and Arab political history.
