Lecturer in Phiosophy of Religion at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Post-Doc researcher at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, FCSH, CHC. Working on the idea of occult properties in early modern medicine.
PhD at the University of Manchester (UK), awarded in 2009 with thesis on Mathers' translation of the Clavicula Salomonis and its influence in the development of Ceremonial Magic in the Western World. Also prepared a new comparative translation of the Clavicula based on the same MSS used by Mathers, as a way of judging Mathers' particular alterations of his sources and the reasons for this.
