Jean-Pierre Brach currently holds the Chair of "History of Esoteric Currents in Early Modern and Contemporary Europe" at the Ecole pratique des Hautes Etudes (Sorbonne, Paris). Besides Christian Kabbalah and Number Symbolism, his main interests lie with the interactions between science, philosophy of nature, theology and theosophy. and with the manifold 19th & 20th centuries expressions of European Occultism and Traditionalism.
