Mr. Rudbøg is working on a PhD thesis at the University of Exeter (EXESESO) entitled: H. P. Blavatsky's Theosophy in context: The construction of Meaning in Modern Western Esotericism.
Mr. Rudbøg has previously received a BA degree in 'The Science of Religion with Philosophy' and an MA research degree in 'The History of Religion' from the University of Copenhagen, which he concluded with the thesis: Constructing Kabbalah: From Mysticism to Western Esotericism.
He has also previously completed a five year study on Esoteric Philosophy (PhDE) specialized in Alice A. Bailey’s and H. P. Blavatsky’s work, which he concluded with the thesis An Incomplete History of the Secret Doctrine.
Mr. Rudbøg is director and co-founder of H.E.R.M.E.S. (2000-); the proprietor of H.E.R.M.E.S.' Antiquarian (2003-) which specializes in rare antique occult books; member of ESSWE; ASE and he has done a number of presentations on esoteric topics since 1999. In 2006 he presented the first lecture series, as a student, at the University of Copenhagen on the academic study of Western Esotericism.
Previous work includes studies related to Western esotericism, H. P. Blavatsky, Kabbalah, Hermetism, Philosophy and a Prolegomena to the book ‘Infinitization of Selfhood’ by Michael D. Robbins, Ph.D.
