Podzemni tok. Ezoterično i okultno u srpskoj književnosti (Underground Current. Esoteric and Occult in Serbian Literature)

This book is a collection of essays on Serbian writers (1800–1950) influenced by esoterism and occultism. The methodological definitions of esoterism and occultism are mostly based on the approaches of Antoine Faivre and the generation of post-Favrian scholars (Versluis,Haanegraff, Stuckrad). But the analysis of esoteric/ occult
themes in literature is mostly done in the manner of the old-fashioned Quellenforschung. Being the pioneer work in such a field, a deliberately traditional method was chosen, because tracing the sources should precede
the interpretation. The impact of „hidden teachings“ on Serbian literature was not as strong as, e.g. in German Romantism or French and Russian Symbolism. But even such a small part of literary history has not
been fully researched, since its orientation is mostly out of the mainstream of Serbian literary history.
